Saybrook Home Services is built on more than 35 years of experience in carpentry, remodeling, home maintenance, and custom woodworking.
After 25 years teaching carpentry in Connecticut's technical high schools, I founded Saybrook Home Services to provide homeowners with quality craftsmanship, reliable service, and professional results.
Throughout my career, I've managed woodworking shops, supervised residential construction projects, and trained the next generation of carpenters. Whether your project is a small repair or custom carpentry, you'll work directly with me from the first phone call through project completion.
As an Old Saybrook resident for over 18 years, I understand the unique maintenance needs of shoreline homes, from moisture-damaged trim and seasonal upkeep to custom built-ins and finish carpentry. My goal is simple: to leave every customer confident the job was done right.

What are your rates?
While some projects are a contracted quote, our hourly rate for small jobs, punch lists, and installs is $85 per hour. There is a two hour minimum, so keep that in mind when planning your project.
